We will have our Winter Party this Friday during our normally scheduled lunch time. I will post the list of items below. I have also posted the SAFE snack list from the school nurse for those that wish to donate items for our party.

SAFE Snacks
“SAFE” SNACK LIST:
Classroom snacks and birthday treats must be from the “safe’ snack list.
No snacks containing peanuts/tree nuts or processed in a plant using peanuts/tree nuts are allowed. Here is a list of snacks that are suggested.
Pepperidge Farm Fish Crackers – all flavors
Cheez-Its – all flavors including Gripz and Right Bites
Wheat Thins, Triscuits, Saltines, Ritz Crackers
Fruit Loops, Teddy Grahams, Nutri Grain Cereal Bars, Pop-Tarts
Wheat Chex, Corn Chex, Rice Chex
Kix, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch
Rice Krispy Treats
Pringles Potato Chips
Stacy’s Pita Chips
Frito Lay - Cheetos, Sun Chips, Potato Chips

The best bet is to just avoid any products made in a bakery or that contain nuts. Items that have peanut/tree nuts as an ingredient are usually labeled with a warning statement. Always read the label.
Here are a few key words to look for when reading labels: peanuts, ground nuts, peanut butter, goober peas, artificial nuts, artificial flavor, mandelonas, goober nuts, peanut flour, mole sauce, marzipan, nougat, arachis oil, nut extract, nut butters, hydrolyzed peanut protein, vegetable oil that is not identified, almonds, beech nut, Brazil nut, butternut, caponata, cashews, chestnuts, chinquapin, filberts, hazelnuts, gianduja, ginko nut, lichee, macadamia nuts, almond paste, nan-gai nuts, pecans, pine nuts, pistachios, pralines, walnuts.
